Confirming contacts made on the radio can be done several ways, via websites such as [LOTW](https://lotw.arrl.org or QRZ, via email with electronic QSL cards, or with physical QSL cards.
QSL cards can be mailed directly to the contact or if the contact is DX, the cards can be exchanged via QSL bureaus. The QSL bureaus handle sending the QSL cards internationally. You mail and receive QSL cards from the QSL bureaus in your area.
To send DX QSL cards via bureau you send them to the ARRL's Outgoing QSL Service more information such as fees can be found at http://www.arrl.org/outgoing-qsl-service.
To be able to receive DX QSL cards you need to setup an account with the group handling incoming QSL cards for your district. DX QSL cards for the ninth district are handled by Northern Illinois DX Association. More information can be found at https://qsl.nidxa.org/get-cards/.
